I understand we can report using requested item table for the items being ordered or by using category. What could be other use cases where resolver team could potentially benefit if they start to use Category and Sub category fields in Task table?

Hi
Category & Subcategory is not extended from TASK table this is wont be visible on the columns, however in the columns if you extend the Parent field and search for category [incident], subcategory[incident] if you add to the columns then it will be available..
Once you extend the parent filed search for subcategory as shown below:
Category and sub-category are on incident table not on task. To implement those dependency in change/problem you need to manually create it.

what is that you are looking with parent field , which is your parent field.
