Check if this link helps : Base System Roles - ServiceNow Wiki
admin:
The administrator role. This role has special access to all system features, functions, and data because administrators can override ACL rules and pass all role checks. Consider these implications when using admin overrides on ACLs.
agent_admin:
Can download and administer the system's built-in agent.

Hi Vamsi,
I haven't used this role yet, but I am guessing that agent_admin role lets you download and administer the system's built in agent, agent being the mid server agent("the name of the external system that the ecc queue messages is either from or to. If the message is from or to a MID Server, the agent name is in the form mid.server.xxx, where xxx is the name of a particular MID Server"). I may be wrong here, hopefully someone else in the community can provide some insight on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Hari
