What is the difference between PDI and the formal instance?
After I try some features in PDI, I would like to upgrade to a formal version.
What should I do? Does the data remian accessible in formal version?

Hi,
The PDI is personal. It's for you to play with and discover/test features of the platform. It's not something that's connected to any customer instance.
If you want, you can of course save data made in a PDI, and import it to a customer instance, but I would say that's a rare case.
You should talk to your ServiceNow sales representative if you have any needs regarding additional instances that are connected to you as a customer.

Not sure what you are asking here.
Data will remain in an instance regardless of type of instance.
At least until you clone over data (customer instance) or if you reset your instance (both available on PDI and on customer instance).
