What is the significance of 'ACTIVE' field on User role table <sys_user_has_role>?

Even if the user on user table is active/locked out/inactive, the STATE field on sys_user_has_role is always showing TRUEfind_real_file.png

Hi,

Out Of  Box we have state field but it is related to address.

if Active is true field represents the users which are presents on the ServiceNow and will do tasks or based on the role other criteria they will perform.

If Active is false they will not able log into the ServiceNow.

Hope it helps!!

Hi Suggy,

This is on the user role relationship table, this signifies whether the current state of the relationship of the role against the user is active or still under approval for processing. Below community answer would help you further understand this better -
