With the Vancouver release, we’re excited to introduce two new capabilities to the Legal Service Delivery solution. First, we introduce a revamped Legal Counsel Center, powered by ServiceNow Next Experience, offering legal practitioners the ability to personalize their legal workspace. Second, we have enhanced our legal contract authoring capabilities with Microsoft Word to help streamline contract workflow processes.
Next Experience Legal Counsel Center
Common legacy practices used by lawyers to manage their daily workload include email and spreadsheets. Accustomed to these solutions, legal teams can be overwhelmed by the number of tasks, requests, and documents that are sent their way. As a result, a growing need for fast legal service delivery and the ability to track and analyze legal performance arises.
Legal Counsel Center powered by Next Experience provides legal teams with the ability to tailor the legal workspace to align with both business and individual requirements. This optimized solution not only strips away slow manual processes, but it offers our customers an easy-to-use and simplified platform from which legal practitioners can quickly categorize, prioritize, and distribute their tasks across the organization. Furthermore, improved visual breakdowns and listings allow for legal teams to measure performance and increase productivity. Using Legal Counsel Center’s intuitive dashboard, legal teams and operations leaders unlock full visibility of their legal processes and can therefore utilize the data to drive service improvement.
Legal Contracts Enhancements
Contract requests originating from the business constitute a fundamental element of the day-to-day responsibilities carried out by legal departments in the enterprises. Creating custom contracts can incur high operational costs for some businesses, while others struggle with poor intake and slow workflow processes. To address these issues, we have enhanced our contract authoring capabilities to help streamline the contract delivery process.
Our new Microsoft Word integration with Legal Service Delivery provides lawyers with a common document creation application to help author, edit and collaborate on contract requests from the business. Moreover, cloud storage capabilities including OneDrive, Google Drive, and iManage allow for easy revision of documents between various parties. And finally, legal operations leaders and teams can track and monitor contract request status and delivery using ServiceNow’s Legal Counsel Center. Legal teams can configure email reminders and push-notifications for expiring contracts, ensuring that all contracts are fulfilled in a timely manner.
