Custom VTB Labels Disappear with New Sprint

Hello,

We leverage customized labels for Story's in our Sprint Board- we often end up moving a handful of Story's to the next Sprint if they are still in progress when the Sprint is set to close. I move the Story's to the new Sprint, close the old Sprint, then open the new only to see all of our labels have not carried over. Is there a way to ensure the labels move with the story if they must move to a new sprint?

I observed the same; the thing is that with each Sprint, a completely new VTB is created. 

The card itself is stored in vtb_card, and the label assignment is stored in label_entry.

 

Funny enough - I just wanted to propose something about BRs or Flows to copy or move the label to the new card, but when I tried to reproduce the behavior in my PDI/SAFe Board, the label got inherited unexpectedly.

 

Which release are you using? And is it about the Agile Board, or the SAFe Board?
