Downvoting option on posts

There are posts on these forums that are obviously incorrect, misinformed or just simply guessing.

It would be good to have the option to downvote these replies that are often begging for thumbs up (now that they are incentivised) so that correct information filters to the top.

Hi @Jayden4

I’m sure there’s a reason why this feature hasn’t been added in the community yet — perhaps to avoid any kind of clashes or wrong impressions about user representation.

@David  @Dan Bruhn  need your inputs here.

Hi @Jayden4 ,

My POV - People who are learning may be giving wrong answers but eventually they are learning while doing the mistakes and growing, maturing in the ecosystem. Downvotes may affect their morals in a negative way. Also their may be multiple conflicts and arguments why answer was marked downvoted so .......

If people are upvoting on wrong answers , its their mistake as well but again, they are learning and maturing.

No system is fullproof - bugs are always there and that's why Testers are still alive 🙂 . Yes, this can be raised as an suggestion with SN community admins. I have also shared few Bugs (May be loopholes or observations) with admins and waiting for their implementation.
