Hello,
I recently configured the Mobile app for my PDI and have found some differences between two different apps available on the App Store: Now Mobile and ServiceNow Agent. I have found that, depending on which app I use, I get different content. I can see for instance in the Security Incident Response Mobile application in Studio how under Mobile Studio there is an option for Mobile Agent and Now Mobile (see attachment). So it makes sense how configurations in either of those will show up in either app. However, when and why would I want to use one app over the other? Should I be configuring everything to use the Now Mobile app over the ServiceNow Agent app? Are there certain users who I want on the Now Mobile app over the ServiceNow Agent app?
Thank you,
Neil Mitchell

Hi Neil,
If your organization is on Newyork the way forward is to use the specific app for specific user persona.
Now Mobile is for Requesters
Now Agent is for Fulfillers

One is for your service agents (ServiceNow Agent), the other (Now Mobile) is for your customers; hence the different views and abilities.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for your input. So essentially, the ServiceNow Agent is for internal staff/users and the Now Mobile is more or less for like external users?

That is how I see them, yes. You could liken it to users on the UI16 view or Service Portal view; UI16 = ServiceNow Agent, Service Portal = Now Mobile.

Hi Ian,
That's a great way of looking at it, that totally makes sense.
