Push notifications on Service Now Mobile not working

Hi,

since I can't find any topic facing the same issue, here my problem:

On my Test instance Push Notifications are working great. The are generated, enter the queue and are pushed out to my mobile device.

On our dev instance, they are also generated and also enter the queue, but remain with status "Pending".

Eventually they become "Failure" and following message is displayed in the System Logs:

app=SkyNowRequestPushApp request=388ea62cb145511058edbd032684762c origin=push elapsed=10 status=503 rest error message: Method failed: (/api/now/v1/push/SkyNowRequestPushApp/enqueue) with code: 503

Did anyone faced this issue as well or has an idea how to troubleshoot?

Was the configuration created in Dev then pushed to Test, i.e. are all elements identical between instances?

Which mobile app are you using, Now Mobile or Now Agent, does the issue persist on both?

Also, have you tested on both Android & IOS, is it the same on both?

I've tried with both, Now Mobile and Now Agent App. On both the issue persists. With the Test instance I meant my personal instance via developer.servicenow.com.

For the Push notification from Dev to show up in your phone, you have to enable that notification on Dev and be in the recipient list of the notification. If you are impersonating someone then that person will need to have their notification setting turned on and be in the recipient list.

Most likely on your Test instance both these conditions are being met.
