ServiceNow is excited to share the latest enhancements to ServiceNow for Microsoft Teams in May 2023, which is available for customers to install. This article summarizes key new capabilities and features available, including new features available in Employee Center, that are available within ServiceNow for Microsoft Teams. Access the ServiceNow for Microsoft Teams integration through the following plugins:
- IT Service Management integration with Microsoft Teams (version 2.6.4)
- HR Service Delivery integration with Microsoft Teams (version 3.3.3)
- Notify Connector for Microsoft Teams (version (2.6.3)
- Meeting Extensions for Microsoft Teams (version 1.3.4)

Employee Profile enhancements - Tabbed UI
Admins can add additional details using tabs on the Employee Profile page
- Admins can configure which tabs are available and what widgets are shown on each tab.
- Admins can configure the visibility of widgets on each tab – employee only, manager only, employee & manager, everyone, or by User Criteria.

Employee Profile enhancements – Personalize public profile
Enable employees to personalize content visibility on their public profile:
- Employees can see the default/set visibility for each widget displayed on their profile
- Admins can specify which widgets employees can personalize on their public profile
- Employees can personalize their public profile by specifying widget visibility (Me only, Me and my manager or everyone)

Note: You must be on San Diego Patch 10 or Tokyo Patch 5 or Utah family releases and download the new Employee Profile app from the ServiceNow store to get these enhancements. Additionally, you must opt-in to Employee Profile. Refer to the Employee Profile product docs for additional details on how to opt-in to employee profile.
