Broken images for catalog items using Virtual Agent on MS Teams

When using the Virtual Agent via MS Teams we noticed all catalog items were showing a broken image instead of the icon for the catalog item. See example below.

After much investigation we found it was due to using the SVG file format, which is not supported in MS Teams. When we converted the icons to PNG the icons rendered correctly.  Hope this helps others.

Where exactly did you update the file format? We're uploading images as PNG, and when we open them in a new tab they're saying the extension is iie?

Hi,

For us this was happening for the Service Catalog images.

We simply changed the images from SVG to PNG by uploading a new image in PNG format effectively replacing the old SVG one.
