Before the installation error, did it prompt for your AD credentials? If yes, does the account have the "Application Administrator" or "Global Administrator" role?

I recall there is somewhere a link in that MS Teams Window that shows you more details on the error.

We were seeing a similar error. In our situation we had multi-language ServiceNow instance, and the manifest created by ServiceNow was created with french translation of Short Description that was too long for MS Teams.

We fixed it by shortening the Translation in ServiceNow (via Translated Text/Field module) and re-creating the Manifest.

I have seen this myself an few times. It's a completely useless error message. They could give us a clue on screen as to the potential cause. Now that would be useful.
