Hi everyone,
We are working on integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft Teams and have configured provider notifications to be sent to users.
Teams notification enabled and profile linked automatically in settings - see below.
However, we noticed that users must first interact with the Virtual Agent before they start receiving notifications. If they don’t engage with the bot, they won’t receive any notifications.
Our goal is to ensure that users start receiving provider notifications immediately after the integration is released to production, without requiring them to interact with the Virtual Agent first.
To achieve this, we found this article Pre-link Virtual Agent requesters for integration with Microsoft Teams , which suggests that pre-installing certain plugins and running a scheduled job might help.
Has anyone faced a similar challenge? If so, were you able to resolve it successfully? Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
