Change Start Page based on Specific Group or Role

Hi, I'm currently working on a configuration that needs a group of Knowledge Managers to have the current start page be the Knowledge Homepage upon logging in to their instance. So far, I've seen the method the Preference option to change the Current start page, but it's not the desired result. So I am asking if there is a way to change the Start Page based on Specific Group or Role?
