Hello All,
We have added a customized hyper link (Submit incident) to the banner header.
As we have upgraded to San Diego release and when we switch to new next experience UI, the custom hyper link (Submit Incident), we had on the banner header is missing.
When I change my UI from next Experience to UI16, I was able to see (Submit Incident) hyper link on banner header.
Is there way that we can add this hyperlink to New next experience banner header?
Please let me know, thanks in advance!

I'm guessing that link was added using a global ui script, which is a high-risk customization. In the new next experience ui global ui scripts that do dom-manipulation are no longer supported.
That being said, we did add new functionality in the Tokyo release that allows you to add custom menus to the unified navigation using configuration rather than the high-risk global ui script customization. You can find out more here: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/tokyo-platform-user-interface/page/administer/navigation-and-ui/t...

Hi Brad,
Thank you for the response!
But this is not a UI script, we had to replace our banner header description with an anchor HTML element to accommodate our need. With the next experience UI, the logo and description are not next to each other and we would like to add this hyperlink as a new Menu instead of header description. I did go through Tokyo release notes to Configure Custom menus for Unified Navigation.
We just upgraded to san Diego, so upgrading tokyo will be long way ahead, but would like to see if there is an option to have header description displayed next to logo.
Thanks again!!

Even if you find a way, you run the risk it won't work any more on the next upgrade and the one after that, etc.
If it's just a link to go to a form, why not add it to everyone's favorites? That will (probably) never change.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful. If it resolved the issue, please mark it as correct. This way others will find it in the solved queue and helps them on similar queries.

Ahh ok that makes sense. That description next to the logo isn't currently supported as of Tokyo but it is some feedback we've heard in the past that is missing from the new UI.
As of right now setting up favorites for people is the only way I can think of doing that if you're not yet on Tokyo.
