Customizing User Menu of Next Experience UI

Quang Vuong

Greetings everyone,

I am having a requirement to customize the 'User Menu' of Next Experience UI. Is there any way to add a menu item into this menu? For example, a menu item called 'Go to Portal view' for users to move to Service Portal. I did some research and found that there is a menu item for us to go to Portal view on UI16 and previous UI version(s).

Thank you.

We don't provide a mechanism for customers to add something to that profile menu. If you do want to add something to the header we recommend using admin configurable menus: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-platform-user-interface/page/administer/navigation-and-...

I read this post while researching and I also agree with you. Not sure if we can do this on Next Experience. I thought it was a little bit weird since ServiceNow removed this useful menu item. Thank you for your quick response.

Hi @Quang Vuong

No, it is not possible as of now to add a new Menu in New UI.
