"Favorites" menu in Next Experience is empty, sometimes.

Hi everyone,

Me and some of my colleagues are, sometimes, losing our "Favorites" menu. It is empty.
I have to go to another web browser to get them back.

As it is a sporadic issue, I haven't been able to do more testing (like trying to just empty the cache of the web browser...), but I wanted to know if you already experienced this and have a root cause/solution/workaround?

Thank you.

Philippe

Thanks for your feedback!

I did create a ticket and they proposed to set this property to false:

glide.ui.next_experience.menu_lazy_loading_enabled
The type of the system property can be 'true | false' and it is fine for the 'Ignore cache' to be checked.

Edit: After two weeks having set the property to false, the issue has not been seen on the instances it has been deployed while it was still observed where not deployed.

Hopefully it will help other people. Please accept this as the answer or mark helpful. Thank you.

Edit: my bad, property has to be set to false.

Edit: thanks Thomas for the Type of the properties.

I've seen other customers talk about this issue and think it's fixed in a Utah/Vancouver patch. You might want to open a case to get some details.

Philippe,

Has this helped at all? I reported the issue as well and got the same response.
