We are currently using a custom application, referred to as the Server Maintenance Application (SMA tool), which requires inputting the server’s name for scheduling one-time or periodic maintenance.
This tool is integrated with the Netcool application. Netcool continuously monitors server downtimes and triggers incidents in ServiceNow upon detecting any alerts.
When a server is scheduled for maintenance and its details, including start and end times, are entered in the SMA tool, Netcool does not generate alerts as it recognizes the existing entry. We are in search of a standard solution or an available plugin within ServiceNow that can replace the SMA tool
