Can Now Assist in Virtual Agent generate answers from non-KB tables (e.g., Incident)?

Is it possible for Now Assist in Virtual Agent to use data from non-Knowledge Base tables (such as the Incident table) to generate responses?
I was previously able to do this during testing in the Xanadu release. However, when trying again in a Yokohama lab instance, it no longer works.
In Assistant Designer, the incident search source shows the following tooltip:
"This search source will appear in search results, but the LLM won't use it to generate responses. LLMs can only use Knowledge Bases, External Content Connectors, or Catalogs."
Has this behavior changed in recent releases?
If so, is there any supported workaround to allow LLM-generated answers from other tables?

Hi @marloii,
I don't have the answer, but if you want to know whether something has changed with recent releases, then create a case from the support portal if you believe that upgraded release changed some behaviour

The tooltip is correct and at this present moment, Now Assist in Virtual Agent (NAVA) uses Now Assist for AI Search (NA4S) and with the MCR pipeline, it can display synthesized responses that can include information drawn from knowledge articles, Service Catalog items, Knowledge Graph schema node content, enhanced chat conversation and external content documents and attachments.
There is no workaround, but we are looking at adding support to generate answers from other sources. You can also enable Web search to broaden the search to include internet search based on the user's question in NAVA.
