Every time I try to do an instance, and try to wake it in a window, it never wakes and I have never been able to do an instance.

PDI doesn't come with support, which means it is tough to say why it happens. This hibernation is part and parcel of PDI.

In recent times i am facing this Isssue. In Past my PDI was having similar Issue and later i came to know it was gone as Service Now was doing some DC migration.
You Can Spin a new but your work will be Lost on OLD if you dnt have any UPDATE SETS for those work.

You can do one thing here, try to release the current instance and request a new one.
