Hello Community,
I am not able to turn on the Now Assist panel for SPM.
The Now Assist for SPM product plugin is already installed.
All required roles are assigned correctly.
Even after this, the Now Assist panel is still disabled.
Please let me know why this issue is happening.
Thanks,

Hi @SahanaJ
Two actions to try:
- Reinstall the required SPM plugin and try again.
- Run
cache.do.
If the issue still persists, log a support case, as this is an out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) functionality.

Hi @SahanaJ,
there's "Set up Now Assist Panel" link on the right side of your last screenshot, that can give you the documentation to review whether everything is in the right place.
The linked documentation Turn on the Now Assist panel mentions:
Before you begin
You must install at least one Now Assist application before you can turn on the Now Assist panel.
And according to the message "Requires product plugin installation" it seems that it's not yet been done:
Perhaps activate any of the Now Assist first and then the NAP.
When I access to the Now Assist Admin, I see there this message for IRM and I believe it might be applicable for SPM as well:
Clicking the "Get plugin" button redirects you to the Settings tab, so that is also something you might want to try:
Let me know if you have any progress or if you are still blocked.
PS: you can create a case from the Support Portal as the last resort

Just in case this helps someone else down the road, I put together a little blog post with the steps that ended up working for me. It took a lot of trial and error and a few Support cases to figure it out, but we got there eventually. Hopefully it helps!
