Now Assist in Virtual Agent - Branding:menu items not visible

Hello Everyone, 

 

I recently installed Now Assist in Virtual Agent. I want to add a menu item on the support page that is a link to a catalog item, however when I try to add an option of link or text type the option does not appear. 

 

I attached a screenshot below. When I change the type to email or phone number it will appear.

 

Any guidance or help would be much appreciated.

Virtual Agent Enhanced Chat has been enabled. To edit email/phone number etc. using the following documentation -

 

Set up your Virtual Agent bot's branding

For theming enhanced chat, you will need to update the relevant Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) variables.

 

To edit the contact number via the list view use table [va_branding_contact_menu]

Hi @Brian Bakker ,

We’re currently facing an issue with the Contact Support form in the Virtual Agent. We need to add a Service Portal form link to the Contact Support menu, but when we add it as a Menu Item of type "Link", it does not redirect to the intended page.

Additionally, this menu item is visible in the Service Portal Virtual Agent, but it does not appear in the Employee Center Virtual Agent. In the Employee Center, we only see menu items of type Email and Phone Number, even though both portals are referencing the same branding configuration on the backend.

We need to understand why the link-type menu item is not showing or functioning in the Employee Center and how we can enable consistent behavior across both portals.
