Unable to Duplicate OOTB Use Cases or AI Agents in AI Agent Studio

Hello Community,

 

I'm encountering an issue while working in AI Agent Studio. I attempted to duplicate an Use Case in order to adapt it to my specific requirements. However, I’m unable to duplicate any of the OOTB Use Cases or AI Agents. The same issue applies to skills within NASK, it seems duplication simply doesn’t work for any ootb components.

 

Interestingly, I am able to duplicate custom NASK skills that I have created myself. The "Duplicate" option appears for OOTB skills, but clicking it does nothing. There’s no error message and nothing happens. On the other hand, creating new custom skills or AI Agents works without any problems.

 

I’ve searched for possible causes but haven’t been able to find a solution. Has anyone else run into this issue or knows what might be preventing the duplication of OOTB content?

 

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@Marco Erharter - So you are not able to view "Clone" button on the OOB Skill?

Thanks for your response. I'm able to see it, but let me expand on what I see:
In AI Agent Studio, when I try to duplicate one of the use cases I can see and click on duplicate:

However, nothing happens. No copy is created when selecting 'duplicate'.

From NASK I can also see the 'Clone' button and select it, but nothing happens.

In syslog I'm able to see some errors for source 'sn_skill_builder': 

Could not clone the skill: Error: Failed to clone record: 198e4d42ffc4a610103affffffffffbcof table: 198e4d42ffc4a610103affffffffffbc

SkillDesigner-cloneSkill: Failed to clone skill: 5b5e8542ffc4a610103affffffffffdd due to error: "Failed to clone record: 198e4d42ffc4a610103affffffffffbcof table: 198e4d42ffc4a610103affffffffffbc"

Which release/patch is your instance on?

 

Also try to repair the plugin - Generative AI controller

 

Let me know if the repair fixes the issue.

I repaired the Generative AI Controller as suggested and tried to duplicate a use case in AI Agent Studio, but the behavior is the same.
