There a multiple ways

  1. Manual
  2. Server Side Scripts( BR,WF,FIX SCRIPTS, background scripts etc)
  3. Using Rest or Soap
  4. Inbound email actions
  5. Record Producers
  6. Employee Self Service
  7. Importing an XML/Excel etc and transforming the data

What is your exact requirement ?
