Importing Knowledge Articles with Images

Hi everyone,

I've seen quite a few threads around this topic but was wondering if anyone actually found success with importing Knowledge Articles with images into ServiceNow, particularly with Microsoft Word and PDF documents.   We tried the inbound email action, but it didn't seem to work very well for us.   Has anyone found a way to do imports without losing formatting?

Thanks in advance!

Amandah

Did you try the workaround mention here? Import of Word Documents to ServiceNow Knowledge base

I believe the codes shared work for Calgary and Eureka

Hi Amandah,

did Bianca's suggestion help?

If not, did you try saving into xml format and then importing the articles into the knowledge base?

The following article could be of help:

Import external Knowledge Base Articals from static XML file

This knowledge article may also be of use:

https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0533212

It deals with importing docx files.

I wonder also if the following could be useful also for word files:

Has anybody tried to import KB articles from Wordforge to Service Now ( Eureka)

The suggestion here is to use an import set.

Hope these suggestions help.

Kind regards,

Alexandra

That's fantastic news - I'll need to look into this when we are upgrading.
