ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals - Create Catalog items.

Hi,

I need help completing the Lab Instance 4.2. As part of Service Now Admin Fundamentals - Create Catalog items. 

 

I did create the Infinity HHD as per the process outlined in the lab. But it is not visible in the Hardware category. When I go to Service catalog -> Maintain item it is visible. But not in self-service -> Service Catalog-> Hardware.  Even in the catalog Builder, I can see the Infinity HHD item.

Do you happen to have an image of the setup of the item? It sounds like the Catalog/Category might not be defined.

Hi @rakeshramadoss ,

 

1. Open your catalog item

2. mention catalog as service catalog and category as hardware

3.  save the changes.

Thanks, Erik, Yes, you are right category was not defined In the catalog builder

- Location- Service Catalog- Categories - I have selected Hardware now.  Infinity HHD is visible in the Hardware category.
