Is it advisable to create a custom role other than the OOTB roles and assign privileges to that role?
I am creating a use case of Employee onboarding and offboarding in Service Now. Are there any OOTB HR roles available that I can use in my use case?

Hi @DishiG
Prefer to go as much as OOTB, creating a new role needs work to set ACL or BR or another assignment. There are OOTB roles available under HRSD.

Hi @DishiG
- sn_hr_sp.admin: Administrator in the HR Service Portal application scope (now the Employee Center and Employee Center Core application scopes)
- sn_hr_sp.esc_admin: Administrator for the ESC portal (i.e., can configure/build ESC) within the the HR Service Portal application scope. These are now the EC portal and EC application scopes.
The reason is you just installed - 'Human Resources: Service Portal'
When you install 'Human Resources Scoped App: Core" then you see many role, like i shared.
