Hi Team,

We have dashboards built for the agents

We have reports which fetches data from multiple tables which causes delay in load time

Are there any ways to improve Dashboard load time?

Are there any best practices defined to follow while creating PA reports?

Thanks,

KUMAR

Hi @ashwanikumar ,

A/several simple reports created through report designer, and populated to a dashboard, should not give a delay in load time. The only recommendation is to look through the filters created in each report, and ensure that they are optimized.

According to PA reports, again, ensure to only capture the data needed, and not to much data - this will improve the load time. Hi @ashwanikumar ,

Things you can do to improve your ServiceNow report and dashboard performance

  1. Limit number of columns in the report

  2. Remove extraneous reports in your personal dashboards

  3. Set your list limits to 100 or lower

  4. Set your filter in the report to limit rows returned. For example, running a report on all incidents that were ever created takes longer than just a report on active incidents this month.
