1. Use the Date Filter Widget
Go to your Workspace Dashboard.

Add or edit the Date Filter widget.

In the Data to filter section:

Select the relevant table (e.g., incident, change_request).

Choose the appropriate date field (e.g., opened_at, start_date).

2. Add Relative Date Ranges
Navigate to: All > Business Calendar > Business Calendar Filter Options

Create a new record:

Choose a calendar type (e.g., “Week” or “Month”).

Set the Period field:

0 = current period

-1 = last period (e.g., last week/month)

-2 = two periods ago

Save the record and apply it to your Date Filter.

This will allow your dashboard to dynamically show “Last Week” or “Last Month” data instead of static dates like July 2023.

3. Verify Indicator Source Configuration
Ensure your Indicator Source uses the correct date field for time series analysis.

Check that the Time Series settings align with your desired reporting frequency (weekly/monthly).

4. Optional: Scripted Filters for Custom Logic
If you need more control (e.g., fiscal weeks or custom rolling periods), use a Script Include or Business Rule to define dynamic date logic
