Application Vit Breakdowns Populating the same selections across the board.

I’m working in ServiceNow Performance Analytics and have configured four separate breakdowns, each with different breakdown mappings. However, I’m running into an issue where all four breakdowns are returning the same selection values, even though the mappings are set up differently.

I’ve verified that:

  • Each breakdown definition is unique
  • The breakdown mappings are pointing to different fields/criteria

Despite this, the results are identical across all breakdowns.

What could cause multiple breakdowns to return the same selections even when their mappings differ?
Is there something I might be missing in the breakdown source, indicator configuration, or data collection setup?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Assign and map breakdowns :Select which breakdowns to assign to an indicator. Map which field on the indicator source references the breakdown source. If no appropriate field is available, specify a script to associate the indicator and breakdown sources.

 

  • Navigate to Performance Analytics > Automated Indicators. Open each indicator, scroll to the Breakdown Mappings related list, and verify that each breakdown maps to its respective unique field or script. 
  •  Ensure each breakdown uses a unique Breakdown Source tailored to the specific data being sliced. You can manage this via the Breakdowns table  Performance Analytics (series) Breakdown Sources
