Breakdown Sources in PA Dashboard

Hi All,

I have created a PA Dashboard using some OOTB indicators and added Breakdown Sources (with same fact table as of Indicators) to the Dashboard.

I have selected the checkbox of "Follow element" also but the Widgets do not refresh on selecting a breakdown.

Note: Indicators are based on fact table of Incident & lets say I have a breakdown 'Priority'.

Hi Slawek,

Apologize to reply late. Following are the answers to the points you raised:

1) These are all standard breakdowns such as Assignment Group, CI's and as such they have mappings to incident table which is my primary table involved here.

2) I am using just standard indicators which already have these breakdowns mapped to them.

The point raised by Alberto is however contradictory here as if same breakdown is mapped to indicator then Dashboard Breakdown will not have any effect. Please could you clarify this.

I am just wondering here that do I need to create a Breakdown relation here:

My Scenarion. A widget of type 'Breakdown' and visualiation 'column' is created to show numbers for different CI's ( with Widget breakdown as 'Configuration Item for Incident'). 

Result: On Dashboard Breakdown selection as of particular assignment group the above widget should be filtered by CI's of that assignment group only.

I checked and it is working on my dashboard. 

Verify if you are using the same Breakdown Sources on Dashboard and in Breakdowns used in indicators.

Inside indicators verify if you have Collect Breakdown Matrix checked.

Open scorecard and check if you see all breakdowns data there.

Checkbox of 'Collect Breakdown Matrix' did the trick and post checking it i ran the data collection job.
