Build an individual KRI trend report with an interactive filter in GRC Metrics?

Hi Everyone, Good day!

I have been working on GRC: Metrics module and I need to build a report that shows the evolution of a single metric definition with class= KRI over time against its thresholds.

What I need:

• A line chart showing the KRI's value by quarter (for example 25Q2 to 26Q2), with the Red and Amber threshold lines on the same chart.
• An interactive filter on the Metric table (sn_grc_metric_metric) so users can pick one KRI and the chart updates.
• The current value of the selected KRI.
• The report added to the KRI Dashboard.

The Red and Amber values are populated when the metric data is generated. I have attached a screenshot of the chart I'm aiming for.

My questions:

1. What is the best way to build this: Platform Analytics, a report, or a custom widget?
2. How do I plot the Red and Amber thresholds as lines, given they sit on the threshold table and not on the metric data record?
3. How do I connect the interactive filter on the Metric table to the chart?

Has anyone built something similar? Any pointers would be appreciated.
