Hi
I am new to Servicenow and creating a report where I have to create two calculated columns:
1. Last Compliance Date + 1 Year to get next compliance date
2. Number of days to this next compliance date
Is it possible to define these columns anywhere like you do in any other reporting/analytics tool (Power BI or Tableau).
Also, what access do I need in order to do so.
Any help is much appreciated.
Regards,
Sana

Not exactly an "admin" function. You need the "function_field_admin" role which nobody has it on an "out of the box" instance. I suggest to reach out to your servicenow platform administrator for this role.

Thanks Sebastian! Is the only way to do this is to add the field to the actual table in Service now, or can this be done in the GUI without physical table modifications? I believe someone already asked this but there wasn't an answer.

I think there is a confusion here. Adding a customized field to a table just for a report will find a lot more resistance from the ADMIN than asking for the "function_field_admin" role to be able create a function field when reporting. I suggest to get a SN developer instance and play with it.
