Can the number of elements in the Select an Element drop-down be adjusted

I am attempting to build a breakdown dashboard where the breakdown contains over 100 elements. However, the "Select an Element" drop-down list on the scorecard as well as the dashboard only contains 100 elements. Can this limit be adjusted?

Hi George,

For breakdowns with a lot of elements (over 100 in your experience), the unfiltered select-an-element list will not contain every element. However, that does not mean you can't specify an element not displayed in the unfiltered list. You simply have to start typing something in the search field to narrow the possible values.

For example, let's say the element I need to select is "xylophone", but I don't see it in the list when I click the select-an-element field. If I type "x" in the search, assuming a small number of elements start with "x", I will see it in the list.

If you'd rather have a short list of items to pick from at the dashboard level, you will need to edit the breakdown source or add a secondary version of the breakdown. (I can't wait until they let us use element filters at the dashboard level.)

Can you modify the following system property to the required number of breakdowns on scorecards and see if it works for you.

Property name = com.snc.pa.scorecards.max_breakdown_elements

Or you could also check this property - com.snc.pa.scoresheet.max_elements

The properties I can view are listed in plain text. Here is what I have:

The maximum number of elements of a breakdown in scoresheet = 500

Breakdown element cutoff point in visualizations = 50

Maximum number of breakdown elements in scorecard lists = 1000

Number of elements in the breakdown charts = 10

All of the numbers are either far greater or less than the limit I am reaching. These properties I found are under Performance Analytics > System > Properties, is there somewhere else I should be looking?

Yes these are the related properties to breakdown limits. You can try making the lower ones to your required limit. If it dint work, please show me a screenshot on where exactly you are checking selecting the breakdown
