Hello all
I have a requirement I am trying to deal with and having some problems and I am not sure if it is possible. Hopefully I explain it properly. I currently have dashboards setup with interactive filters based on user and group. The indicators are simple enough (ie number of new incidents per month etc). What I need to do is the following:
1) Have a sum of incidents (ie new incidents) but only for a set of all assignment groups (ie by VP ownership etc).
2) Be able to use the interactive filter to with the total number of records based on VP's assignment groups
I know I can go create unique indicators and specify the list of assingnment groups per VP) and then created basically a whole new dashboard. But I was hoping there was an easier way.
From an assignment group perspective, I can create an interactive filter (either based on the VP field in the AG) which will allow the user to select individual assignment groups belonging to a specific VP but ideally I'd like a way to select via the filter VP1 and get a count of all records for all the assignment group that VP owns. I have tried also assigning an assignment group to a parent group and from a report perspective I can run a report that gives me all records related to the parent but I am unable to translate that into Performance Analytics
I hope I explained it well....
Thanks

I have had issues creating Interactive Filters based on VP. I ended up building a Breakdown for PA. You can also make a Breakdown act as an Interactive Filter.
Hope that helps!
If it does, please mark accordingly.
Thank you!

Thanks Bryan
I did this as well, which sort of works but essentially with the breakdown, if the VP has multiple assignment groups under their domain, they have to click each one to see the relevant stats for the indicators defined in the dashboard. What I was hoping to do, was figure out a way to do the following to sum all the related records in all the assignment groups related to that VP. So for example
Assignment group 1 - indicator number of new incidents - might be a total of 10 this month
Assignment group 2 - indicator number of new incidents - 12 this month
The way my VP breakdown is now, I can filter on 1 or 2...but I was hoping I could have a breakdown that would show the total ie 22 in this example. Not sure if it is possible
