Dashboard as default screen on login

Ok, so I'm going to ask a stupid question, but its giving me fits. How can I make a dashboard the default screen when a user logs in (Native UI)?

I've tried updating the User Preferences with the sys_id for the dashboard, but that doesn't seem to work. All I get is the last viewed Homepage. I would have thought this would be a simple thing...

Any suggestions?

See? I knew it was a stupid question, because I found the answer... it's a setting in General Settings (found through the settings cog).

Man - not sure why I didn't realize it was there, I guess some of us don't use that cog very often!!!

I'm just happy that I responded to my own dumb post before anybody else did.
