Editing reports (sys_report) navigates to Performance Analytics Workspace

Hello everyone,

 

As an admin, navigation to sys_report_list.do, I try editing a report by clicking into it and clicking on the top-right "Edit report" button. It navigates my to the old (sys_report_template.do) UI, this is the wanted behavior.

 

As a report_user, trying to edit a report, doing the same steps as admin, it navigates the user to the Performance Analitics Workspace.

 

Why is that? How can I shut this redirection?

Hi @Ariel Aharon ,

This behavior is caused by the Platform Analytics Migration features. In recent releases (Xanadu, Yokohama, Zurich), ServiceNow automatically redirects non-admin users to the modern Workspace experience to encourage adoption, while administrators often retain access to the Classic UI for configuration.

To disable this redirection and force users back to the classic sys_report_template.do UI, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to System Properties > All (or type sys_properties.LIST in the filter navigator).
  2. Search for the property: com.glide.par.unified_analytics.enabled .
  3. Set the Value to false.
