Follow Element option not working when choosing Visualization to Pivot Scorecard?

We have a breakdown Dashboard, and we added a widget with Type: Breakdown, Visualization: Pivot Scorecard. We choose a pivot breakdown, and select: Follow Element option, However scores don't change when a different element is selected from Breakdown dashboard.

Hi Gita,

Two questions to clarify:

- have you also filled in the field follewed breakdown with the same breakdown you used for your dashboard?

- does the underlying indicator of the pivot table widget have this breakdown?

If one of these questions is answered with no, than that could be the problem.

Hello Vincent:

We created a breakdown dashboard which serves as a template dashboard for rest other dashboards we have, and is working perfectly fine for any kind of widget visualization except one for "Pivot Scorecard" visualization under type "Breakdown".

To answer your questions:

- No, I don't have follow breakdown option in my widget configuration because If I am creating a breakdown dashboard as a template and using the tabs to link with other breakdown dashboards, I am pretty sure there is no need to choose the option "follow breakdown" in Widget configuration. (If I select follow breakdown in my widget, purpose of creating breakdown dashboard template fails).     Follow Element option is what needed to be checked for breakdown dashboards and that's what I have already checked.

- Yes, my both indicators for pivot scorecard widget include the breakdown which I am trying to set as pivot breakdown. Also, both indicators have the breakdowns coming from the same breakdown sources which are being used in breakdown dashboards.   Also these two indicators include breakdowns from the same breakdown sources which are being used in Breakdown Dashboards.

Also to mention, same breakdown if I choose in the widget configuration for type "breakdown" and visualization "scorecard" works for same indicators or any other indicator perfectly fine.

Hi Gita,

I've tested this on my own instance and it seems that the follow breakdown option doesn't work at all for pivot table visualizations.

Jochen Pohle are you aware of this issue? Or does Gita have to raise a hi ticket for this?
