We have an OOB Formula Indicator in Performance Analytics and it is using a OOB breakdown in formula. Even though the breakdown exists and the xml shows the correct sys_id for the breakdown for formula, we are getting below error. Can anyone please help me resolving this
"Error MessageThe breakdown with sys_id Remediation Target Status (Closed) is missing. The breakdown might have been deleted."

Hi,
Try removing the breakdown and adding it again to the formula indicator and if any automated indicators which are used in the formula.
Regards,
Vamshi

I've come across a similar error specifically for the 'Digital Forensics' indicator (part of Legal Services Delivery). There was no evidence of deleted records in our instance. So I started installing the LSD applications in one of our sandbox instances to see if the same error appeared.
Initially, I received the same error after installing the core LSD apps (i.e. legal matter mgt, legal request mgt). But then I realised there was an additional "optional" app named 'Legal Digital Forensics'. When I installed this app, the breakdown missing error disappeared.
I used SN Utils to search for the specific sys_id in my sandbox instance to check out what this missing record looked like. It was an 'Intake Form' with name 'Digital Forensics' (I haven't bothered trying to find out its purpose yet).
So from my experience this time - it might be worth checking if there are other apps within the broader suite which are haven't been installed yet. It might just contain the missing breakdown which the indicator is expecting.
Hopefully this info helps someone else.
