Getting different number of records in Service-Now and the Exported Excel for the same table

Hi All,

I have been exporting the data of one of the table into Excel and found that it gave me 95 number of records whereas in the service-now instance it shows only 34 records.

From where these extra records are coming from?

Need Suggestions please.

It is happening because of query business rule 'Hide admin homepage categories'


If you deactivate that and open the table you will get all 95 records.



The query br is stopping the records from being displayed on the list but for some reason it is not being applied to the export function.

its a business rule, just go to it and make it active = false.



But i wont really recommend it, as its there for a specific purpose. So if you want to deactivate it, make sure you know what you are doing.

There are many Business Rules and i cant find the it to set it to false related to Category Table.


Kindly suggest where i can find the one to make it work accordingly.
