Hello,
In reporting, my hex colors are being shown out of order on the graph. That perrywinkle color (bluish purple on top) was not even provided. I used the code for red (#b22222) and it showed up no where. This is what I entered: #B22222, #FF8C00, #A9A9A9, #00CED1, #008000 . I also tried to order them according to the key, no luck either!
Do you guys have any tips on how to order these so they come out correctly? I ordered them from very dissatisfied to very satisfied and it came out like this. I want very dissatisfied - red, dissatisfied - orange, neutral - grey, satisfied - light blue, very satisfied - green.
Also, do youhave any tips on how to order the key correctly - from Very Dissatisfied to Very Satisfied. They are rated from 1 to 5 in the survey designer so I don't know why they show up mixed up like this.
Thank you for your help!

Hi,
You'd want to go to Chart Colors and then look for your table and elements and you can assign them there so it's universal.
Then in the report, click the gear next to type and for Chart Color choose the "Use Chart Colors (if defined)".
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

I don't have a suggestion for the ordering other then potentially changing the label on the data to have a numeric in front of it.
But I do have a suggestion for controlling the colors. There is the ability to assign specific color values to specific data values for a field(regardless of chart series).
Take a look here https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/kingston-performance-analytics-and-reporting/page/use/reporting/concept/c_ChartColors.html

You were pretty close, I found this through trial and error.
Example:
#c85e24,#3c308a,#177958
Coma separated value, no spaces.
