How to open AI search results in new tab or window in VA chatbot?

When I use a VA chatbot to search for issues, it shows a list of knowledge base (KB) articles. When I click on an article, it first shows a snippet. Then, if I click 'Read More', it opens the full article in a new tab or window.
Is it possible to skip the snippet and directly open the full article in a new tab or window?

I believe you will need to do some customisation to allow this, but before you do - it might be worth considering the experience - if many articles appear the brief overview may support, and might outweigh the decision to customise. 

If you do decide to customise - you could customise the VA Topic (or create a new one if you are using the ootb one) - and use a script to do the search on articles and return the message as hyperlinks for the user to follow.
