Interactive deselect on graph chart legends only works if both group by and stack by are selected

PA dashboard with any chart type doesn't allow clicking the legend item unless there is a Group by and Stack by field filled in.

Tested in Zurich and with options enabled for Chart interactions.

Would there be a workaround for options to enable without a "Stack by" field selected?

There’s no workaround, and I think this is expected behavior.” I tried in my PDI and did not find any issue.

Legacy dashboards and the interactivity used to work with just "Group by" selected.
Having 1 option of Group by selection should be technically feasible, as well as the current function of having to choose 2 options of Group by AND stack by.
