Interactive Filter - Date/Time (Question)

Hello,

We have been asked if it was possible to create a "Interactive Filter - Date/Time" filter not included OOTB which will allow a user to enter dates using the between condition or "last 14 day" (see 1 pic)?

Is it possible to create such operators/conditions without modifying the System Definition - Business rule "Get Date Filter Options for Date Filters"?

Any suggestions are truly appreciated.

Hey Don,

The only way to add a new option is to edit that Business Rule (and do a few other bits). Don't panic though, this is actually a method that is recommended by ServiceNow courtesy of KB0749822 - How to create a custom date/time filter for use in an Interactive Filter.

All the details you need are in that support article so I won't re-type them here.

If you're worried about editing an OOTB Business Rule, you could make a copy of the Business Rule in your instance and perform the changes on the copy, then de-activate the original. That way you will be upgrade proof for the OOTB BR should ServiceNow decide to add any new options themselves. I would recommend this approach if possible.
