Is there a way to group monthly view counts of Knowledge by kb_category?
As the kb_knowledge table records cumulative view counts,
I believe it's not feasible to perform monthly aggregation.

Hi @MugTm09
I think you need to create a database view for this. The kb_use table can give you the view count, and the kb_knowledge table can provide the category. Build a DB view combining both and give it a try, mate.

@MugTm09 ,
kb_knowledge table stores cumulative view counts rather than per month snapshots, which means you cannot reliably group monthly view counts by kb_category using the static value alone; to achieve true monthly aggregation by category you’ll need to capture the views in a time series manner (for example using the kb_use table or by creating a nightly snapshot job that stores monthly totals), and then use either Performance Analytics or a custom data source to build a trend report by category........
If you found my response helpful, please mark it as ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This helps other community members find the right answer more easily and supports the community.
