Issue Access to this content denied based on report_view field ACLs.

Hi,

 

After ServiceNow Upgrade I am able to see this kind of ACL message. Not able to access any dashboard widget.

How should i resolved this issue Please let me know..

Hi @harshal001 

 

Please check the ACLs on the table where the reports are created.

If a Report View ACL already exists, verify which role is configured in the ACL. You can resolve the issue by either of the following methods:

  1. Add the appropriate role to the Report View ACL based on the end user's role (for the user who is unable to view the reports).
  2. Assign the role specified in the Report View ACL to the affected user.

If a Report View ACL does not exist, create one, add the required role to it, and assign the same role to the user.

Hi Harshal,

 

This is not uncommon,  typically occurs after a ServiceNow upgrade because of newly enforced report_view Access Control Lists (ACLs). Users are blocked because they require both standard read access to the underlying table and an explicit report_view permission for the specific tables or fields utilized in the dashboard widgets.

 

Can you please share which are your past and upgraded versions?

We just upgraded from Yokaahama to Autrelia Version

Hi @Doctor ITOM  Could you suggest me solution on this issue, Data Visualization Name shown "None". Any idea.
