List columns not appearing as defined for widgets

When defining columns for widgets for any visualization types, the columns I am defining are not the ones, the others are not seeing that have been added.

1. Is there a place to define the columns so they stay the same for all downstream consumers? When i add the table and in some list visualization types, i can add columns. Screenshots added

2. How much of a dashboard can be migrated with an update set?

You can add data source manually as in screenshots and add the data source and refer that from client script as needed. Please check screenshots.

@Naveen20 i am trying to define the columns which the user will see : right now, when i add the columns, and the business drills down to list views, they see different columns than what I added.

In edit data source are you able to see the columns as in this screenshot ? Can you try modifying them

i did, and when i go view the dashboard, i can see what i defined.. but other business users, see different columns or have missing columns.
