HI,
Is there a way to move multiple reports to a different application scope?
We've got around 100+ reports that wa previously created in classic UI by users on 'Planned Work Maintenance' application that they can't edit now in Platform Analytics, since they are now force into Global application scope.
We are trying to look for ways to migrate these impacted reports to the Global scope instead of recreating them.

Hi @Sherwin G
If number of report is less , then
Method 1:
take a few moments to rebuild them in other scope.
Method 2 : Though it is not recommended, but should be feasible
You can do this using the following steps:
- Go to the global scope dashboard or report that you want to copy.
- Click the "Actions" menu and select "Export."
- Save the XML file to your local system.
- Update scope to Target scope in each xml.
- Go to the target scope application where you want to import the dashboard or report.
- Click the "Actions" menu and select "Import."
- Choose the XML file that you exported in step 3 and click "Import."

I doubt it can work between the scopes
in platform analytics you can't use legacy reporting.
You can only migrate dashboards to platform analytics and reports on the dashboards will be migrated to data visualizations
check these links
Migrate a selection of Core UI reports -> Zurich onwards you can migrate individual reports

Hi @Sherwin G ,
Legacy reports and dashboards cannot be modified using Platform Analytics. In one of my customer projects, we first migrated the legacy dashboards to Platform analytic dashboard. After the migration, the reports change to Data Visualization, and those visualizations you can edit in dashboards.
Regarding your question, “Is there a way to move multiple reports to a different application scope?” — No. it is only possible by creating Data Visualizations within the target application scope. you can create data visualization different application scope.
You can edit reports directly using performance Analytics if you are in Zurich release of ServiceNow.
