Hello Guys,
We are in surge of improving our instance performance and we have taken up some modules to look into it one of is the dashboards and reports! So basically we need to check all dashboards and reports that are not being used and need to make them inactive or delete them just to improve our performance. I can see updated field in dashboards but I don't think its useful and reaching out to each owner whether dashboard is used or not is not feasible anyone can help on this what should we do??

Hello @Priyanka Chaud1
for reports you can see below thread for reports usage.
I am still not sure how inactivating/deleting reports/dashboards would improve the performance. Those are just data in the table till someone opens the report/dashboard, and if someone opening it then they are using it.
If they are not using it, then these are just data in the reports/dashboards table which should not be any issue with respect to performance.
May be I am missing something here??
Thank you,
Ali

you can use dashboard statistics to check how often the dashboards are used and how long does it take to load the dashboard. May be here you can modify report query in the slow dashboards to improve the load time.
Thanks,
Ali

Are you sure it's for performance and not in preparation to move to the new Platform Analytics?
