Performance Analytics (PA) Simulator - Micro Certification task issue

I am having trouble getting the task below completed:

Indicators

1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Indicators > Automated Indicators.
2. Add the filter condition Package.ID = com.snc.pa.
3. Click into and review the resulting 16 indicators to ensure they capture the metrics you want to measure and track.

Any help, tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @melissawnc ,

1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Indicators > Automated Indicators.

1. Add the filter condition Package.ID = com.snc.pa

In the filter condition chose "package ==> Package fields"

Chose "ID".

Click "run".

SOLUTION FOUND 9-13-2024

The documentation for this micro cert is badly out of date and the instruction steps DO NOT WORK.

In the section titled "Validate Sources and Review Indicators" these are valid instructions which I will be sending to the nowlearning team (for free).

Corrected instructions:

Indicator Sources

1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Sources > Indicator Sources.
2. Clear filters, then apply the filter NAME = Incidents.New
3. Click into Incidents.New
4. Scroll to the bottom section and select the “Indicators” tab, then click on “Number of New Incidents”
5. Click “Jobs” tab in the bottom section
6. Click on the jobs listed:

1. “[PA Incident] Daily Data Collection”
2. “[PA Incident] Historic Data Collection”

Indicators

1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Indicators > Automated Indicators.
2. Clear filters, then apply the filter INDICATOR SOURCE = Incidents.New
3. Click into Incidents.New
4. Click “Jobs” tab in the bottom section
5. Click on the jobs listed:
1. “[PA Incident] Daily Data Collection”
2. “[PA Incident] Historic Data Collection”

Collection Jobs

1. Navigate to Performance Analytics > Data Collector > Jobs.
2. Scroll through the list and find the names of the 2 jobs.
3. Click into and review the [PA Incident] Daily Data Collection and [PA Incident] Historic Data Collection jobs. Review the list of indicators which are being populated by these jobs. Dashboard[sic] that feature these indicators will be populated with data after the jobs complete.

Additional BUG found in dashboard widgets: I had to change the layout of the dashboard before I could see/access the configuration icons for each widget, after changing the layout they appear in the upper right corner.
